Policy Concerning the Refund of Tuition Fees

Find below our policy concerning the refund of tuition fees as approved by the international programs management committee of Grenoble Ecole de Management.

A. In the event of a student being refused a visa by the French Embassy or Consulate before arriving in France for the start of the program, all tuition fees paid will be refunded to the student upon receipt of their visa refusal letter from the French authorities.

B. In the event of a student not obtaining their visa because of false paperwork (references, degree certificate, etc) only 50% of the total tuition fees paid will be refunded to the student, upon receipt of the visa refusal letter from the French authorities.

C. In the event of a student not obtaining a grant, scholarship or education loan, all tuition fees paid will be refunded upon receipt of proof of the scholarship/loan application refusal before the start of the program.

D. In the event of a student deciding to no longer join the program, and on the condition that Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) is informed by 1st September 23h59 (CET), GEM will refund any tuition fees paid, with the exception of the deposit.
In the event of a student deciding to no longer join the program after the deadline of 1st September 23h59 (Central European Time - CET), the student will be liable for 50% of the total tuition fees.
This includes students who decide to leave the program on or after the first day of the first semester.
In the event of a student postponing their place until the following intake and then deciding they no longer want to join the program, the rules and deadlines stated above apply.

E. If a student has received a conditional acceptance, but is unable to fulfill the condition required before the start of term, GEM will refund any tuition fees paid, with the exception of the deposit.
However, the applicant may also choose to defer to the next intake of the program, in which case the deposit paid will be transferred.
This excludes PGE students and BIB students who are eligible for a refund of all tuition fees paid, including their deposit, if they are unable to complete the conditions of their acceptance.

F. In the event that a student does not attend a program or has to leave before the end of the program due to serious unforeseen circumstances (death, accident, or serious illness), a specific committee will examine cases on an individual basis.

G. In the event of exclusion from the program or from the School or non-validation of the degree sought, students remain liable for the full payment of tuition fees and no refunds are authorized.

H. Any tuition refunds will be made by bank transfer directly to the student's bank account. The student will pay all corresponding bank charges, commissions, and losses according to the exchange rate.

I. Offsite students should consult the partner institution's tuition fees policy for all questions concerning fees and refunds.
